In 2006, Nashwan Bahoo formed N&R Architecture Ltd. and in 2012, continued as AKKAD NZ PROJECTS until present. Nashwan has a Bachelor Degree of Architectural Engineering from overseas and gained a Master of Construction Management with Distinction in New Zealand. He has had more than 30 years experience in the Architectural Industry, working in many different countries on a different range of projects. Nashwan has completed designs for Commercial Buildings such as Cathedrals, Churches, Medical Centres, Preschools etc. as well as Residential Buildings including large family homes, multi-unit complexes and more.

Our Director also has experience in large scale competitions in New Zealand and overseas. Nashwan has completed his Master's Thesis in Evaluating the National Platform for Sustainable Construction in Developing Countries: A Study of Iraq. Based on his thesis, he designed a High Performance Sustainable Building. Nashwan has also taken part in the annual ADNZ Competitions.
